Common questions
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates on the phone and in person are free. After 6 pm and on Sundays there’s a $125 trip fee, and we tell you before we come out.
Do you come out at night?
Yes. After 6 the phone rings through to whoever’s on call that week, and they ring you back within 15 minutes. A burst pipe or a flooded basement gets someone out that night.
How do you price jobs?
Flat-rate. We look at the problem, give you one price, and that’s what you pay. The starting prices are on the services page.
Repair or replace a water heater?
Under about eight years, we’ll usually repair it. Past ten, or leaking from the tank itself, a new one is the better money, and we’ll say so.
Are you licensed and insured?
Dan and Erin are master plumbers licensed by Ashford Township, Nos. MP-1187 and MP-2290, and we’re registered with the Pennsylvania Attorney General as home improvement contractors, PA041872. We carry $2 million in liability and workers’ comp for all five of us.
Do you work with oil heat?
Yes, we service both gas and oil boilers and furnaces.
