About water heaters

A water heater lasts about ten years. If yours is older than that, rumbling, or leaving rust in the hot water, it’s near the end. We’ll tell you whether it needs a repair or a replacement: a new thermostat is a $180 visit, not a $2,000 one.

For replacements we carry the common tank sizes on the truck and can usually fit one the same day. A tankless unit takes a day and pays back on the gas bill; we’ll tell you whether your house suits one before you spend anything.

What you get

  • Same-day replacement on most tank models
  • Old unit removed and recycled
  • Permits and inspection handled
  • Two-year workmanship guarantee

Questions

How long does a replacement take?

Two to three hours for a like-for-like tank. A tankless conversion is a day.

Tank or tankless?

Tankless costs more up front and less every month, and needs the gas line to support it. We check that first and tell you straight.

Do you take the old one?

Always. It goes on the truck and to the scrap yard, not on your curb.

No hot water this morning?

Call or send a message. We keep room in the day for it.
